Catholic Faith Formation (CFF)

Registration Information has been emailed to families who have participated in CFF in the past.  If you have not received an email or your family is new to SJV and would like to learn more about the program, please contact the Faith Formation Coordinators at .

Faith Formation will begin this year with a family-centered remote approach. We will be using A Family of Faith from the Sophia Institute for our K-8th graders.

A Family of Faith is based on four pillars: The Profession of Faith (The Creed), The Sacraments, Life in Christ, and Christian Prayer, to be completed in a 4-year cycle, with the Profession of Faith being our topic for the upcoming year. The vision of this program is to help form strong catholic families where children learn the joys of following Jesus Christ and the truths of their faith through the witness of Christian life by their parents. The main goal of the program is to encourage and equip parents to fulfill their God-given duty and privilege of educating their children in the Catholic Faith. We are here to guide and assist you along the way and we will take this one month at a time.  Each family that registers for the Faith Formation Program will receive a Parent Guide, a Family Activity Book, a copy of the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and a Bible.

Enrichment and community building activities will be offered each month, starting in October.  Children in grades 2, 3, and 8 will also be receiving instruction as they prepare to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Confirmation, and First Communion.
