Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

RCIA is the Catholic Church’s way of receiving adult candidates. The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) meets in weekly sessions from late summer through the end of the Easter season. These sessions are designed for those who have inquiry questions about the Catholic faith with intentions of joining the Catholic Church by receiving the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist. The sessions are also for those Catholics who have been baptized, but never instructed in the faith. RCIA stresses formation in doctrine, prayer, liturgy and Church life.
